Rules & Regulation


  • All entries must be an original concept for the given briefs. You will have to sign a disclaimer saying the work is yours and you have every right to submit it for the competition.
  • Each entry must include 3 sketches, which give a visual impression of the concept for the given briefs. The sketches should demonstrate front, side and back views.
  • Each entry must include a brief written explanation behind the concept.
  • Concepts could be hand drawn or can be digitally done.
  • Use normal A4 size page, portrait format.
  • All entrants must be over 18 and under /or 27. participants, if found above the age limit will be disqualified.
  • Entries must be in English.
  • The decision of the jury will be final and binding.
  • All information will be uploaded on the contest website. Participants are advised to regularly check the website for any updates. No contest-related correspondence will be entertained from the participants.
  • All submissions will become the sole property of DYPDC and DYPDC can publish, exhibit or promote the contents of the submission wherever they wish without seeking any permission. However, the participant will continue to hold the copyrights of his/her work.
  • The prize winners should make their own personal arrangements in regards to transportation and accommodation to come to Mumbai or Pune to collect their award. He or she will be notified in advance.
  • This contest is not open to DYPDC students, employees, their families and relatives.
  • The aim of this contest is to give a platform to amateur or aspiring designers only.
